Interested in the built environment as a living organism I used Archive as an experimental and research project and took this meaning literally. Manipulating forms found in nature in an attempt to merge the built and existing environment, a blur between man and god.
A rich culture limited by its Architecture due to a lack of investment and safety. A disconnect between the built environment and public space. The project attempts to blur the line between inside and outside utilizing the courtyard. A shared space for the community.
The suburb is a place with a loud presence. Public family feuds, garage mechanics, corner dope dealers. This project emphasized the grind and added to the loud presence with the intestines of the building on display, The front facade acting as a window to the public with a focus on using the space efficiently.
